- Dear Paul and Patty: I want to thank you very much for your expert and diligent work over the past few tax seasons. As you know, due to a series of mishaps, I found myself in a pickle. I discovered that I owed the IRS $83,000 and they wanted to take all that I earned until it was paid. I came to you and it didn't take long for me to figure out that you knew your way around the system. Soon my situation was under control, tax lien released, and the amount that I owed was only a fraction of what they had originally claimed. There is no way I could have done this by myself. I had dealt with other companies that were convinced I could cut corners and come out okay. It was not true. What you did was accurate, efficient and done with aplomb and understanding. Did I have fear when I first came to see you? Yes, I did. Did I not like some of what you originally said? Yes, I did not!
